RAISON d'ÊTRE e Marianna di Palma sono "Diamonds"

In addition to the brand new website, RAISON d’ÊTRE is launching the new spring/summer 2014 campaign in a very special way. Through Art.

In collaborazione con lo studio Jolty, è Marianna di Palma, giovane pittrice e fotografa dall’estro un poco surrealista, un poco astrattista, capace di creare immagini dal forte impatto emotivo e visivamente abbaglianti, a firmare la post-produzione del servizio fotografico, inquadrandola nel suo nuovo percorso artistico, “Diamonds”.

In cooperation with Studio Jolty, Marianna di Palma, young artist influenced by Surrealism and Abstract art, post-produces the photoshoot of the campaign. She’s able to recreate very emotionally impressive and visually original photos and she integrates her work for RAISON d’ÊTRE in her new wider artistic project, “Diamonds”.

È un’artista eclettica, Marianna, così brava nel destreggiarsi fra tecniche e supporti diversi, fra i colori e il bianco e nero, così attenta a trasportare l’osservatore nel sogno, nell’inconscio, attraverso uno studio del corpo che va sempre oltre l’esperienza quotidiana.

Marianna is an eclectic, she’s brave in using different techniques and materials, manoeuvring colors as well as black and white tones. She takes care of those who look at her works, bringing them into a dream, into the world of the unconscious, through a study of the body which goes beyond everyday experience.

La filosofia dietro “Diamonds” è molto precisa: il mondo è guidato da linee e preconcetti ben tracciati in una rete di serenità illusoria in cui vive ciascuno di noi. C’è un momento, però, in cui l’uomo prende coscienza della propria situazione, così legato, limitato, imprigionato in una serie di azioni già determinate, e se ne libera, riuscendo finalmente a risplendere della propria luce.

The philosophy behind “Diamonds” is clear: the whole world is guided by lines, concepts which lead everyone’s actions by creating an illusion of serene life. But, there’s a moment when man understands the real situation in which he lives, he sees finally the bonds, the limits, a prison of predetermined actions. That’s the first step towards freedom and the possibility to shine.
